Join Our Team at Catholic Early EdCare
Catholic Early EdCare (CEEC) is seeking a dynamic and experienced individual to join our team as the Head of Quality and Continuous Improvement. Reporting to the General Manager, Practice Governance & Risk, this pivotal role is responsible for driving quality improvement initiatives and ensuring adherence to the National Quality Framework across our early education and care services.

Key Responsibilities:
Continuous Improvement Strategies: Develop and ensure the implementation of strategies that enhance service delivery and ensure compliance with the National Quality Framework.
Induction and Development: Design and implement a framework to ensure new staff are effectively supported through a comprehensive induction program during their first six months to foster a sense of belonging, continuous improvement and professional excellence.
Leadership and Guidance: Provide leadership and strategic direction to Continuous Improvement Officers to promote positive relationships with services focusing on a culture of quality and excellence.
Assessment and Rating Processes: Oversee the Assessment and Rating processes and support to ensure all services meet and exceed national standards.
Collaboration: Collaborate with the other relevant teams to ensure integrated and cohesive quality improvement initiatives. Regularly meet with equivalent roles to drive strategic level change and initiatives.
Reporting: Prepare and present comprehensive reports on quality improvement activities and outcomes to the General Manager Practice Governance & Risk.
Monitoring and Evaluation: Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of quality improvement programs and initiatives, ensuring they remain current and effective.
Industry Trends and Legislative Changes: Stay abreast of industry trends and legislative changes to ensure continuous improvement practices and any other related requirements are up-to-date.
Crisis Management: The ability to identify the need for leadership during significant events / crisis and provide guidance where required to ensure a safe outcome for all.
Key Requirements:
- Driver's License
- Working with Children Check (Blue Card)
- Criminal History clearance
- Tertiary qualifications or substantial experience in early education, adult learning, or related fields.
- Minimum five years in senior leadership within early childhood education or a related sector.
- Expertise in coaching teams with the National Quality Framework and Assessment and Ratings.
- Strong leadership, communication, and strategic planning skills.
