Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Quality Care and Continuous Improvement Coordinator to join our Quality Risk and Governance Unit. This role will play a critical part in ensuring the delivery of high-quality services across our diverse programs and services.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in quality assurance, risk management, and continuous improvement. They will be responsible for coordinating quality and continuous improvement activities, supporting the implementation of best practice policy and procedure, and ensuring compliance with relevant quality standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate quality and continuous improvement activities across all Centacare services
  • Support the Quality and Continuous Improvement Manager in implementing best practice policy and procedure
  • Ensure compliance with relevant quality standards and management of Centacare Continuous Improvement Policy/Procedure/Register
  • Support operational teams in quality and continuous improvement activities/initiatives/projects
  • Ensure ongoing implementation and maintenance of continuous improvement processes
  • Work within the Quality Risk and Governance Unit to enhance safe care and quality outcomes
  • Apply data analytics to assess/measure current performance against quality standards, indicators, and frameworks
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., nursing, health, community services, social work, quality)
  • Auditing qualification desirable but not essential
  • High-level understanding of quality frameworks and standards (e.g., Human Service Quality Framework, NDIS Quality and Safeguarding Framework, Aged Care Quality Standards)
  • Experience in a portfolio of aged care services, disability services, mental health services, or family and relationship services
  • Demonstrated knowledge, skills, and experience in coordinating quality and continuous improvement methodology
  • Demonstrated experience and capability to develop and sustain influential working relationships with stakeholders
  • Sound analytical, problem-solving, written, reporting, and evaluation knowledge and skills
  • Highly developed organisational and systems thinking skills
