Position Overview 

We are seeking a Senior Creative Designer to provide design assistance to the team. You will work closely in the in-house creative team to develop web, digital and print assets in line with our brand guidelines and marketing strategies. 

The ideal candidate will have an understanding of developing commercially effective design and a passion for creating consistent work across a range of touchpoints.

Responsibilities 

  • Design and development multi-channel marketing collateral, including print, digital, web and animated assets. 
  • Be a creative partner for our digital and web team. 
  • Guide and mentor other designers in the team. 
  • Interpret design briefs to develop innovative concepts and design work in line with Snooze style guide. 
  • Ensure all finalised artwork and files are archived correctly. 
  • Participate in collaborative workshops with design team to develop creative when required. 
  • Contribute to and implement Snooze style guide across all design collateral, ensuring consistent standards. 
  • Stay up to date with design trends and deliver 'outside of the box' design solutions across both digital and traditional media. 

Reporting Structure 

Direct report to Creative Lead. 

About You 

  • Bachelor's Degree in Design, Visual Communication or related field. 
  • 3+ years previous experience as a Senior Creative, Digital or Graphic Designer, preferably in-house for a retail brand or an agency working on retail brands. 
  • Strong proficiency of Adobe Creative Suite (with expertise in Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects and InDesign), Microsoft Office and Figma. 
  • Strong experience in UX/UI design, wireframing, responsive web design and HTML5  
  • Excellent understanding of layout, typography, typesetting and visual hierarchy. 
  • Ability to create on brand finished assets for Web, Digital and Print. 
  • Experience in animation / motion graphics. 
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills and an ability to work autonomously or collaboratively. 
  • Good organisation skills and ability to prioritises workloads and deadlines. 
  • Excellent written and communication skills.
