About the Opportunity As an Employee Relations (ER) Manager, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and implementing employee and industrial relations strategies across our diverse and evolving Justice and Immigration (J&I) business.
Reporting to the Senior People & Capability Specialist, you will provide expert advice and leadership in managing complex employee relations scenarios, driving change, and ensuring compliance with industrial instruments.
What you'll be doing Implementing the ASPAC and J&I ER strategy, including the ER bargaining policy Developing and executing ER plans for business units and contracts to address specific needs Leading enterprise agreement negotiations and ensuring compliance with governance requirements Providing expert advice and support for industrial instruments, disputes, and litigations Representing the company in industrial/employment tribunals and conciliations/mediations About you You are a dedicated professional with a strong background in employee and industrial relations, eager to make a positive impact in a fast-paced and complex environment.
Your excellent communication skills, commercial acumen, and ability to build effective relationships will enable you to navigate challenging situations and drive successful outcomes.
You are committed to continuous improvement and innovation, always seeking ways to enhance processes and practices.Your ideal skills and experience Ability to travel across Australia and New Zealand on an ad-hoc basis Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Business, Human Resources, Law, or a related discipline or extensive experience in an industrial/employment relations function in a large or complex organisation Strong business/commercial acumen with experience in bargaining, dispute management, and litigated claims Excellent verbal and written communication skills Ability to work collaboratively and independently, delivering results in a dynamic environment You do not need to match every listed expectation to apply for this position.
