Our client is currently seeking a suitably qualified and experienced individual to perform in the role of Urban Designer. This position is for a period of 12 months, possibly extended, commencing start of April 2023 - 35 hours per week - WFH 2 days per week.

In this role you will be responsible for the preparation of three Master Plan documents (including creating and amending maps and producing a sophisticated document layout and design), 3D modelling using ‘Giraffe’ for scenario testing (Note, Giraffe can be easily learnt for those with design modelling experience) and the creation of aesthetically pleasing documents and maps, with a focus on visual appeal, clarity, and accessibility.
- Minimum 3-5 years’ experience in urban design, 3D model, and visualisation
- Excellent graphic skills, including proficiency in Giraffe, Sketchup, AutoCAD, ArcGIS and/or equivalent, Adobe Creative Suite and Microsoft Office.
- Demonstrated experience in preparing urban design and master plans reports.
- Demonstrated experience in producing sophisticated document layout and design.
- Ability to consult and liaise effectively with a wide range of people in a culturally diverse environment.
- Knowledge of and experience with accessible design standards.
- A passion for creating clear, concise, and well-organized design documents.
