The Opportunity

We are currently seeking applications for a motivated Transport Administrator to join our Metro team at our Forrestfield Depot in Perth. You will be responsible for ensuring the accurate data entry of the information into the internal system on a daily basis and travel pack compilation for our PM departing freight distribution services.

Tasks & Responsibilities:

  • Creating Manifest consignments and updating as informed by dock personnel.
  • Liaising with Dock operational staff to ensure all customer freight requirements are correct.
  • Ensuring that all transport documents are correctly completed and compiled ready for departure in the drivers travel packs.
  • Data Entry of Con notes & POD.
  • Scanning paperwork into the freight system.
  • Sorting connotes by destinations.
  • Ad hoc administrative duties as directed by the Administration Manager.

About You:

The ideal candidate will have a positive can-do attitude and strong interpersonal skills with the ability to articulate through excellent verbal and written communication skills.

To be successful for this role applicants must:

  • Be reliable with your attendance.
  • Have at least 3 years’ transport administration experience
  • Be able to prioritise high volume of work and work in a fast-paced environment to meet service departure times.
