Your role in a nutshell

In Australia, The Body Shop is seeking a dynamic and experienced Logistics Manager to lead and optimize our omni-channel supply chain. Reporting to our Head of Supply Chain and working within our small but might Supply Chain team, this role is vital for leading ERP and WMS integration, managing 3PL partnerships, and ensuring seamless logistics operations across retail, e-commerce, and wholesale channels. The ideal candidate is commercially savvy, data-driven, and adept at implementing RFP results, cost control, and continuous improvement.
Please note that this is a 12 month Maternity Leave cover position.

Your key responsibilities will include
- RFP Implementation & Vendor Management: Execute RFP results and manage 3PL relationships, ensuring high service levels and cost-effective logistics solutions.
- ERP & WMS Integration: Support the integration between ERP and WMS systems, ensuring seamless operations and swift issue resolution.
- Cost Control & Budgeting: Track logistics spend, develop budgets, and identify cost-saving opportunities, while maintaining high service levels across all channels.
- Multi-Channel Logistics: Consolidate logistics operations across retail, e-commerce, and wholesale, ensuring optimized stock availability and timely delivery.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Act as the main liaison between logistics, operations, IT, and commercial teams to align logistics processes with broader business goals.
- Data-Driven Decision Making: Leverage analytics to track KPIs, report logistics performance to senior leadership, and support strategic decisions.
- Risk & Compliance Management: Identify potential risks, develop mitigation strategies, and ensure logistics compliance with local and international regulations.
- Sustainability Focus: Collaborate with partners to implement sustainable logistics practices aligned with The Body Shop’s corporate sustainability goals.
- Continuous Improvement: Drive ongoing improvements in logistics processes, optimizing efficiency, reducing costs, and enhancing service levels.

- Strong commercial acumen with experience in managing RFPs, 3PLs, and logistics budgets.
- Proven expertise in ERP and WMS integration and logistics operations.
- Data-driven, with the ability to track spend, analyse performance, and make informed decisions.
- Strong stakeholder management skills and experience collaborating across departments.
- Ability to identify risks, manage compliance, and drive sustainability in logistics.
