 About The Role:

Our Physiotherapy department is seeking a Grade 1 or 2 Physiotherapist.

The role of the Grade 1 or 2 Physiotherapist is primarily one of clinical service provision of a comprehensive, client-focused nature to Acute, Aged and Ambulatory care clients of the WDHS facilities. The role includes a wide range of rotations, as well as rotations at Regional Healthcare Facilities and Community Exercise groups. 

Grade 1 Physiotherapists are supervised by a Grade 2 physiotherapist within their work area and will in turn have a variable degree of oversight for the allied health assistants and students, depending on their level of experience. All Physiotherapists have a duty to maintain appropriate, accurate and timely clinical, attendance and statistical records.

You will Bring:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Physiotherapy from an accredited institution
  • Current registration with the Physiotherapy Board of Australia
  • Analytical thinking to assess patient needs and develop appropriate treatment plans
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Compassion and understanding toward patients' concerns and challenges
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Collaboration with other healthcare professionals for comprehensive patient care
  • Commitment to providing culturally sensitive care to a diverse patient population
  • Flexibility to adapt to different healthcare settings
  • Physically fit to demonstrate exercises and perform hands-on therapy
  • Current driver's licence
  • Willingness to travel within the rural service area as needed
