Your New Company

You will be working for a large education business who have an excellent reputation. They need a Payroll Manager / Specialist to help them through year end and to run the full Payroll function for 3 months.

Your New Role

The successful applicant must have proven experience in a similar Payroll Manager / Specialist position along with the following attributes:

  • Experience in standalone end to end payroll processing and administration (related monthly reporting processes)
  • Experience in preparing and submitting payroll-related tax lodgements, superannuation contributions, work cover payments and other statutory obligations
  • Competency in developing and generating periodic spreadsheets and ad hoc reports as needed
  • Experience with Aurion (highly desirable) or competent utilisation of other payroll software
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills
  • Complete full end of month and end of year
  • Knowledge of the education sector and its operation an advantage but not essential
  • Sound analytical and problem-solving skills with an ability to think logically and laterally
  • Well organised, positive, pro-active, and able to work in a team environment
  • Must hold a current Working with Children Check or be willing to obtain
  • National Police History Check (obtained within the last 6 months)

What you need to succeed

You will need previous Payroll experience, be able to start immediately and have at least 5 years experience.
