Your Role...

As a Finance Specialist, you will collaborate within a team to enhance efficiency by analyzing financial data, generating reports, and executing special projects as required. You will ensure precise and timely entries, postings, and invoicing, alongside financial reporting responsibilities. We seek an individual with a solid background who is capable of independently managing financial responsibilities, budgets, and accounting practices for our organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process employee timecards and expense claims.
  • Accurately input accounts payable invoices, securing necessary approvals.
  • Manage fixed asset software, produce reports, and document depreciation.
  • Prepare and oversee general ledger entries and reconciliations for month-end closures.
  • Generate invoices and ensure timely processing of expenses.
  • Maintain precise data within the accounting system, including new tasks, revenue and expense budgets, and client billing rates.
  • Invoice intercompany and international clients.
  • Assist with bank reconciliations as necessary.
  • Oversee payroll processing for designated offices, including year-end and tax reconciliations.
  • Review proposals for specialized billing of fixed-price projects.
  • Analyze aged accounts receivable reports and inform project managers of overdue accounts.
  • Conduct account analysis and transaction investigations.
  • Maintain general ledgers and financial reports.
  • Investigate financial issues and propose suitable solutions.
  • Support the documentation and monitoring of internal controls.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of two (2) years of relevant experience is required.
  • A Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related discipline is required.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Word, Excel, and PowerPoint is essential.
  • Familiarity with Acumatica is advantageous.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision is necessary.
  • Proficient in reading, writing, and speaking English fluently for effective communication with team members and clients.
  • Capable of managing multiple projects and deadlines efficiently.
  • Attention to detail and quality is crucial.

Work Environment: This is a full-time, in-person position based in our Adelaide office.

Work Schedule: Standard hours are Monday through Friday, totaling 37.5 hours per week.

Compensation: Competitive salary offered.

Travel Requirements: Minimal to no travel is expected.
