Job Summary

NES Fircroft is seeking an experienced Payroll Officer to join their team in Leederville. The successful candidate will provide a proactive customer-focused integrated payroll service, processing payroll and HR records in a timely and accurate manner.

Key Responsibilities
  • Process payroll and HR records, including base pay, allowances, deductions, superannuation, tax, new hires, terminations, and employee movements.
  • Maintain personal records in line with regulatory requirements, including the creation of personnel files.
  • Provide the first point of contact for HR and payroll-related reports.
  • Resolve complex issues with employees and managers regarding entitlements and payments.
  • Coach employees and managers on the use of HR Self Service.
  • Seek and act on opportunities for proactive communication with customers and HR consultants.
Requirements
  • Relevant experience interpreting conditions of employment and relevant awards.
  • Relevant experience with ERP systems (SAP, HR Success factors is highly desirable).
  • Intermediate knowledge of Excel and Outlook applications.
  • Demonstrate interpersonal and client service focus skills.
  • Proven ability to prioritize workload and work in a dynamic corporate environment.
  • Ability to work collaboratively and support Administration Assistants.
  • Previous demonstrated experience in a similar Payroll Officer role with high volume data entry and validation.
  • Excellent time management and communication skills.
  • High level of attention to detail and accuracy.
