Talenza have been engaged by one of Australia’s leading insurance companies to source a Change Manager to join their Team

This is a 12-month contract with the view to extend based in Sydney.

The Role:

As the Senior Change Manager, you will be responsible for leading and managing multiple change initiatives that bring people along the risk transformation journey including policy and data change that are aligned to the broader business strategy.

This is an exciting role and would suit someone with a strong track record of Change Management within financial services looking for their next opportunity.

Responsibilities:

  • Scope and define the required change, possibly across multiple projects, to ensure outcomes and expected change benefits are clearly articulated and that agreed work is aligned to the overall project/initiative.
  • Develop a global awareness communications plan around the change.
  • Develop and manage the change plan to deliver the agreed capabilities and realise the business benefits within agreed scope, time, and budget; recommend and implement intuitive change solutions that minimise human impact.
  • Management of stakeholder communications and engagement; ensure stakeholders remain engaged and committed throughout the change.
  • Identify, monitor, and report on issues and/or problems associated with the change including challenging and influencing project team members and stakeholders as required to enable the successful achievement of change deliverables and benefits.
  • Regular status reporting as it relates to a change program/initiative or a multiple-stream program including budgets, progress/deliverables, risks, and resourcing.

Skills & Experience Needed:

  • Self-Leader - manages to high quality and time.
  • Driven to deliver - proven ability to deliver the best possible results for the organisation.
  • Experience working within Risk or Compliance transformation programs is preferable
  • Ability to pull together global comms plan and develop content
  • Proven ability in managing diverse and multiple stakeholder groups, including senior leaders.
  • Postgraduate qualifications in Change Management or in related field such as Business, Psychology or HR, or equivalent industry experience.
