How you'll make a difference

AMP Bank has teamed up with leading technology provider Simpology to introduce a seamless home loan application process that accelerates the 'time to approval', enhances the broker experience, and ensures better transparency and certainty throughout the application journey from submission to settlement. The introduction of new capabilities through this initiative, spanning data, digital solutions, and automation will equip AMP Bank to deliver a simplified experience incorporating real-time decision-making and updates for brokers.

The Senior Change Manager will be responsible for devising and implementing all Change Management solutions for the program, playing a crucial role in effecting sustainable changes and strategically influencing the business.

You'll create an impact by:

  • Thinking globally about change and strategically selecting the appropriate tools, methodology, and models to facilitate change
  • Developing change plans and activities to garner support from key stakeholders for project implementation.
  • Identifying obstacles to the business initiative and devising change strategies/plans and timelines to effectively overcome these hurdles.
  • Devising comprehensive approaches to lead the change management effort throughout all delivery stages and the customer lifecycle
  • Assessing and managing change impacts for the enterprise heat map, the project, and potential scope changes
  • Assessing and tracking adoption and success criteria, and conducting reviews to gather feedback for a successful outcome. Utilize insights to promote further learning within the practice.

Effective Management of Stakeholders

  • Collaborating with the Project Manager and other key leaders. Seeking inputs and feedback on the effectiveness of the Change Management Plan.
  • Continuously identifying areas of greatest resistance and obstacles to prioritize engagement on crucial areas.
  • Actively engaging in risk and issue management alongside the Project/ Program Manager by identifying, reporting, and managing change risks and resolving issues.
  • Enhancing Change Management capabilities at AMP by spearheading and/or contributing to ongoing improvement activities and enhancing skills.
  • Participating in the identification of suitable change agents and leading, educating, and mentoring them in the change process.
  • Ensuring key stakeholders receive extensive support, are involved, and commit to owning the change initiative.

Leadership Qualities

  • Championing the relevance of Change Management methodology, processes, and practices across the enterprise and at all management levels.
  • Serving as a mentor to peers and Change Management resources to enhance the overall organizational Change Management capacity.
  • Advancing Change Management capabilities at AMP by spearheading and/or contributing to continuous improvement initiatives and enhancing skills.

What you will contribute to the team

  • Experience in leading complex change initiatives with a focus on digital/ technology-driven transformation (Experience in Banking Lending would be advantageous).
  • Exposure to financial services, operating in large, intricate environments, and interacting with executive and senior management.
  • Demonstrated experience in developing and evolving change management toolkits, with the ability to deploy appropriate change expertise for initiatives of varying sizes.
  • Exceptional communication skills to resolve intricate problems straightforwardly, highly adept in; facilitating change, strategic thinking, impact assessment, and influencing others.
  • Robust stakeholder management skills across all organizational levels and various functions.
  • Proven track record of change delivery in Agile methodologies and preferable agile operating models.
  • Post-graduate certification in change management or similar field, Agile Certification e.g., SAFe would be beneficial
