In addition to capital equipment sales, Tutt Bryant Equipment supports its customers in the provision of spare parts, consumables, mechanical service, repairs and other support functions.

The Role & Your Requirements

About the role

We are seeking to employ a Branch Administrator on a permanent full-time basis

Reporting to the State Manager this role will be based out of our Archerfield QLD office and is focused around supporting the daily activities associated with the branch and our customers.

Duties

Day-to-day duties will include but not limited to:

  • Handling day-to-day administration duties and providing support as required to other departments
  • Accounts receivable banking, reconciliations, allocations, receipting, debt collection and monthly reporting
  • Purchasing of all office supplies (ie stationery & welfare items)
  • Raising admin / service purchase orders and processing supplier invoices
  • Preparation of prompt accounts payable requests
  • Preparation of new employment contracts and maintaining personnel files (including LMS training requirements)
  • Preparation of employee expense claims & petty cash reconciliations
  • Administration of the branch employee’s database & annual leave spreadsheet
  • Coordination of premises security keys & alarm codes
  • Reception duties
  • Data entry, file & record maintenance management
  • Any other duties as required by management

Skills & experience

  • Minimum 2 – 3 years’ experience in administration & customer service or similar
  • Accounts receivable & accounts payable experience advantageous
  • Proficient computer skills and Microsoft Office Experience
  • Strong numeric, oral & interpersonal skills
  • Excellent phone manner
  • Strong customer service orientation and high attention to detail
  • Punctual, reliable and a strong work ethic
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently to organise and prioritise demands, be accountable for assigned tasks, handle multiple tasks simultaneously, meet deadlines and follow through to completion within a fast-paced work environment
  • Positive attitude with a willingness to learn
  • Desired knowledge of the construction equipment industry would be advantageous
