And it's why we need people like YOU. Come shape our future with us and make a real and lasting impact across our teams.

Your opportunity:

Our Service Delivery group has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Mobilisation Lead to join their newly formed Transition project team

The Service Delivery One System for Maintenance (OS4M) Strategy seeks to deliver improvements across key maintenance delivery performance outcomes including safety performance arising from real-time visibility of the full portfolio of maintenance works undertaken on Urban Utilities’ asset base. Delivering the objectives of the OS4M strategy depends on the consecutive execution of several critical enabling projects including the transition to a new commercial maintenance model, a digital enablement program of work and changes to business processes and internal functional structures.

This position will be accountable for development and delivery of a mobilisation onboarding program for the current maintenance contracts to the new One System for Maintenance commercial model. This role will be responsible for working in conjunction with stakeholders to lead the implementation of the mobilisation plan in line with the requirements of the contract scope and agreed processes.

This role will engage with colleagues across the organisation, influencing, supporting and working with people to support incoming contracts and Delivery Partners, establish new processes and embed governance mechanisms.

About you:

  • Proven operational experience with a comprehensive understanding of service delivery operations

  • Tertiary qualifications in program/project management or a related discipline or equivalent experience.

  • Proven experience working across a diverse range of external and internal stakeholders

  • Expertise in managing organizational projects with multiple stakeholders under tight deadlines

  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, negotiation, and team leadership skills

  • Experience in leading change across large projects with commercial acumen and business understanding

  • Experience in preparation of quality documentation and reporting.

Our HQ is in Fortitude Valley, Brisbane, but you'll find us all over SEQ - working in cool places like the SAS Laboratory in Darra, field-based depots in Eagle Farm, Acacia Ridge, Bundamba, and wastewater treatment plants dotted across the region.
