About the Role

Join our Service and Maintenance Division with an exceptional NEW opportunity, as an experienced dedicated Key Account Contract Manager to lead the management of key client relationships across Australia. This is a role where leadership, customer service excellence and operational efficiency are key to success.

As a Key Account Contract Manager, you will be the primary contact for our key client and stakeholders, primarily located at Moorebank (South West Sydney), ensuring their needs are met and exceeded. As part of your role, you will also be required to travel to other sites across Sydney as well as interstate when required.

You will oversee the full lifecycle, from initial enquiry through implementation and ongoing support. Your role will involve strategic planning, contract management, and collaboration with internal stakeholders to deliver tailored solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Client Relationship Management: Serve as the main point of contact by developing and maintaining strong relationships with the customer and key stakeholders and provide guidance on contractual matters and dispute resolution.

  • Contract Management: Draft, execute, and manage the entire contract lifecycle. Ensure contractual accountability, perform periodic reviews, and provide resolution services. Educate stakeholders on their contractual rights and responsibilities.

  • Account Growth: Identify and pursue opportunities for account growth and new business along with developing and implementing strategic account plans.

  • Service Quality: Ensure clients receive high-quality service. Monitor satisfaction levels, address issues promptly, and conduct regular meetings and reviews.

  • Internal Collaboration: Work closely with all key management and stakeholders to ensure alignment and support.

  • Performance Tracking: Track and report on key account performance metrics. Analyse sales data and client feedback to identify areas for improvement.

  • Industry Expertise: Provide expert advice on material handling and warehousing best practices. Stay informed about industry trends, market conditions, and competitors, and share insights with internal teams.

  • Reporting: Prepare regular reports on account status and performance for senior management. Ensure compliance with relevant ISO procedures, including contract review and design control.

About You - What We Are Looking For

  • Proven experience in account contract management (5+ years) within warehousing, logistics or a similar role, with a strong track record of managing key client relationships and driving account growth will be looked upon favourably

  • Trade background or an Engineering qualification will be highly regarded

  • Excellent negotiation, communication and interpersonal skills

  • Strong understanding of contract management and lifecycle, with experience in drafting, monitoring, and reviewing contracts

  • Ability to work collaboratively with internal teams and manage multiple priorities effectively

  • Proficiency in tracking performance metrics and preparing detailed reports

  • Knowledge of industry trends and best practices in material handling and warehousing will be highly regarded

  • Flexible with work hours and able to travel when required
