**Description**:
Martinus are seeking a Commercial Manager to support works on the Moorebank Intermodal Terminal Development Project. The Commercial Manager is responsible for managing the head contract and subcontract documentation, rights and obligations and project legal requirements.

Tasks and Responsibilities
- Understand contractual requirements for head contract claims
- Providing input into cost tracking
- Completing EOM financial report management
- Management of contract manager
- System compliance of transaction is in accordance with local laws and standards
- Financial compliance to our policies
- Organise team meeting to ensure continuous improvement process is being completed
- Producing claims/notices and valuations
- Complete monthly progress claim
- Oversee preparation and submit head contract variations
- Oversee assessment and approval of subcontract variations including identification for entitlement under the head contract and vice versa
- Review and advise on project forecast
- Compile information to be incorporated into the relevant internal or external reports
- Complete forecasting and EOM process ensuring all financial inputs are completed in a timely manner
- Establish and finalise head contracts and subcontracts
- Ensure subcontractor commitments are up-to-date and registered
- Provide commercial advice to project management of potential claims upstream and downstream
- Produce commercial letters in accordance with the contract
- Ensuring commercial compliance of claims to contract requirements
- Promotes Martinus commercial capability by participating in the development and continual improvement of related behaviours and systems
- Supports the management of staff and alignment between team capability and the business objectives
- Shares knowledge and ideas to support continuous improvements within the team
- Persistent with improvement ideas, build team member buy-in to ideas and listening to team members’ improvement ideas and have informed opinions about their merit

**Skills and Experiences**:
Skills and Experience
- Tertiary qualifications in Construction Management, Business, Law, Commerce, Accounting, Quantity Surveying or other associated disciplines
- Extensive broad-based industry experience
- Training in Performance Management
- Experience working on civil or rail infrastructure projects
