  • 24-month secondment opportunitybased at Mascot

At Qantas, we understand our priorities and what needs to be delivered, taking the initiative to keep things moving. Navigating through our complex work environment, we bring teams and individuals together to deliver on our customers’ expectations.

As an integral leader in the delivery of significant Airports infrastructure works, this role is responsible for the overall program planning and governance of key Airport terminal projects across our major Ports.

Utilising your intricate knowledge of Airport operations and Program management, you will influence key stakeholders across the Program and act as the voice of both the business and the customer to ensure appropriate consideration and planning of the end-to-end requirements. You will keep the Airport and its operation front and centre during the implementation of the terminal works, minimising impact to customers and employees.

Your presence onsite will be deeply valued and impactful. Your input will be critical in ensuring the program will meet commercial imperatives on time. You will do this by acting as a key liaison between project and Airports business unit teams, providing a seamless experience for Airports Infrastructure programs.

  • Strong background in delivery and implementation methodologies within Airports and aviation infrastructure, risk management and principles of change
  • An understanding of Airport and/or Airline operations and experience in managing change within these environments
  • Ability and confidence to quickly identify key opportunities and issues in any business, and develop strategies or plans to capitalise on these opportunities or resolve issues
  • An appreciation of the industrial landscape and appreciation of how change impacts customer experience
