Join a Growing Team as an Accountant in Gepps Cross

Polyaire, an international manufacturer and wholesale distributor of air conditioning products, is seeking an Accountant to join our team in Gepps Cross. With 27 branches across Australia and over 50 years of industry experience, we are leaders in providing sustainable comfort through innovative Air Touch solutions and Smart Home technologies.

 

Are you a meticulous and detail-oriented Accountant looking to join a dynamic team? We are seeking a skilled Accountant to manage key financial processes and support our finance department. If you have a knack for numbers and a passion for accuracy, we want to hear from you

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage month-end processes, including accruals, balance sheet reconciliations, and EOM journals.
  • Maintain and reconcile the fixed asset register.
  • Handle end-to-end processing and management of accounts and preparing monthly financial statements.
  • Assist with year-end audits and payroll processing as needed.
  • Calculate supplier rebates and landed costs for import purchases.
  • Support the Finance Manager and CFO with various tasks.
  • Collaborate with Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, and Inventory teams.
  • Update and develop SOPs for the finance department.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in an accounting role.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
