About the Team

Our People and Performance team is responsible for strategic projects, policy and advocacy, as well as enterprise, network and supply chain strategy. These activities help to direct the company’s business growth, improving the company’s overall commercial performance. They also lead the People strategy responsible for cultivating a great employee experience and place to work. About the Opportunity

Deliver training coordination services to ARTC employees ensuring compliance with relevant Enterprise Agreements, National competency requirements and applicable National Rail Safety Law and Work Health and Safety requirements.

  • Provide an effective training coordination and customer service including the forecasting and scheduling of technical training.
  • Work with Area Managers, Maintenance Supervisors and Work Group Leaders on understanding their specific training needs.
  • Complete training need analysis and develop individual training plans, aligned to the requirements of competency matrices to achieve a safe, capable and compliant workforce.

About You

To ensure success in this position, applicants will be able to demonstrate:

  • Demonstrated ability to work co-operatively and influence outcomes.
  • Strong administration and time management skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Effective communication skills with employees, leaders and external training providers.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office software including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint and learning management systems.
  • Demonstrated ability to use discretion and sound judgement in dealing with issues as necessary.
  • Holder of current unrestricted driver’s licence and willingness to travel.
  • Desirable to have demonstrated experience in a Registered Training Organisation / training company related role.
  • Desirable to hold a Certificate IV in HR or Training & Assessment.
