We are looking for a switched-on and diligent Fire Tester Technician who is looking for that elusive "Work / Life" Balance within a small and supportive business.
  
Bring your fire testing and electrical expertise to a wide range of clients, from industrial sites and schools to nursing homes and apartment buildings.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Systematic and thorough testing of fire systems and equipment to ensure they operate as required in case of emergency.
  • Routine and periodic inspection and testing of all equipment, including sprinklers, hydrants, fire panels, fire pumps, extinguishers, hosed reels, emergency lights etc.
  • Minor remedial works as required.

What you’ll need to succeed:

  • You have proven experience and knowledge of fire protection systems and equipment testing.
  • Superb people skills with the ability to understand and manage our clients’ individual needs.
  • You are a qualified or near qualified electrician
  • You have a solid working knowledge of AS1851
  • You’re enthusiastic, reliable, and have a high attention to detail.
  • You have a current driver’s license.
  • Though not essential, FPAS accreditation would be a big bonus.
