About Our Client

With a global presence across North America, Asia, Australia and subsidiaries in Europe, our client is currently experiencing market growth and as a result is seeking to hire this newly created Senior Accountant role to help with their ERP system implementation and beyond.

Job Description

Reporting into the Finance Manager and working in a standalone finance function in Perth, this role will be ideal for a self-starter, who will be working across:

  • Tracking estimated costs of completion of company projects
  • Reporting on project costs variances
  • Supporting the Finance Manager on Revenue Recognition and group reporting at month end
  • Preparation of accurate balance sheet reconciliations
  • IFRS16 Lease accounting work
  • Tax & Statutory reporting and compliance
  • Assisting with ERP sysytem migration
The Successful Applicant

The successful candidate will have a background working in an Accountant role within a project environment, either within an industrial, engineering or manufacturing setting.

Key traits will also include:

  • CA/CPA Qualified
  • ERP system experience is essential (SAP)
  • Ability to work in a standalone finance role
  • High attention to detail and ability to meet competing deadlines
