As an Employment Account Officer, you're not just filling a role; you're embarking on a fulfilling journey. Reporting to our Branch Manager, you'll:

  • Conduct business development activities with local businesses, including reverse marketing, telemarketing, and lead generating activities
  • Work closely with job seekers to identify their employment needs and provide support throughout their job search journey
  • Build strong, collaborative relationships with clients and employers to secure successful job placements and support new business opportunities
  • Enhance customer experience by providing exceptional service and support
  • Demonstrate your track record of meeting KPIs, building relationships, and displaying a resilient, positive attitude

This is a full-time, permanent position based at our Hunter sites, with the potential for occasional work at other Castle locations. The Salary for this role is paid based on an award rate at $31.86p/h with room to progress to the higher pay points. If you do bring Industry knowledge and experience, there may be potential to align you to a higher pay point.

What You'll Need to Succeed

To excel in this role, you should have:

  • Relevant Certificate IV or specific industry or equivalent knowledge and 3 to 5 years of experience
  • Demonstrated personal integrity, professionalism and empathy towards people living with Disabilities
  • Demonstrated experience or transferrable skills for success in employment services and account management
  • Effective and adaptable communication skills with the ability to build and manage strong relationships with participants, employers, colleagues, and other stakeholders
  • The ability to learn and fully adopt new software packages and electronic business systems, including the use of ESS & JRL

Essential Criteria

  • An NDIS Workers Check (or a willingness to obtain one).
  • A Working With Children Check (or a willingness to obtain one).
  • A driver's license or reliable transportation.
  • Willingness to understand and agree with Castle’s Vision, Purpose and Value statements and the ability to apply these values to your own work
