SASH is excited to announce our new, state of the art emergency and referral hospital in Balgowlah, Northern Beaches. Our hospital is scheduled to open towards the end of 2024. Providing veterinary excellence in the core services of medicine, surgery, emergency with critical care, dermatology and oncology.
About the Role:
Our client services team represents a pet owner’s first impression of SASH and the service we strive to offer is 5 star. This is a permanent, full time position, however we would consider a part time position for the right person. As we are a 24hr facility, this person will be working a range of shifts across a 12-hour roster. This truly is a reception positions like no other, with enormous variety and where no two days are the same.
Some of the tasks include, but are not limited to:
- Greeting of clients and organising waiting room workflow.
- Management of high volume email inbox
- Coordination and booking of appointments both over the phone and in person
- Acting as a liaison between clients and the clinical team.
- Handling of cash, EFTPOS and other payments
- Requesting medical records, test results and other documents from third parties.
- Processing pet medical insurance claims
About You:
We are looking for someone who can bring a positive, engaging and helpful attitude to the role. This role will suit someone who prides themselves on providing excellent service. Some of the tasks include, but are not limited to:
- 3 years minimum in a similar position
- Proven ability to take initiative and prioritise tasks accordingly
- Passionate about animals and providing excellent customer service
- Empathetic, compassionate and professional in all dealings
- Clear, professional and sensitive communication style
- A reliable, committed work ethic and a resilient attitude
- Polished demeanour
- Able to work independently and collaboratively
Desirable:
- Previous experience in a veterinary or medical reception role or similar administrative position
- Previous experience in the use of EzyVet
