About the opportunity
Reporting to the HR Team Leader, in this role you will be joining our collaborative, innovative and supportive People & Performance team providing leadership and guidance to our team of HR Administrators servicing the IntoWork Group.
The Senior HR Administrator will be responsible for leading the HR administration team, ensuring the efficient and accurate execution of daily operations and alignment with the company’s objectives. This position involves overseeing key administrative functions including monthly reporting, managing employee data, onboarding, offboarding, and ensuring compliance with HR policies. The Senior HR Administrator will also focus on leadership and mentorship, fostering a culture of collaboration, growth, and open communication within the team
Your key responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
- Supervise the HR administration team by overseeing daily tasks, assigning clear responsibilities, and ensuring objectives are met
- Ensure a balanced distribution of work, providing support during high-demand periods
- Provide mentorship and coaching, fostering growth, encouraging innovation, and promoting problem solving
- Manage onboarding, offboarding, and variation processes, ensuring compliance with company policies
- Process improvement and leveraging new technologies to streamline tasks
- Ensure all HR-related tasks and reporting are completed accurately and on time, particularly those
impacting payroll, and ensure documentation is properly stored - Handling escalated issues
- Tracking key administrative metrics in alignment with service level agreements (SLAs).
- Involvement in strategic initiatives, such as system implementations and upgrades
This is a Full-Time position located in Scarborough

To be successful in this role:
You will consider yourself driven, conscientious and motivated, who brings with them considerable experience in HR administration to assist the business to achieve its key goals and objectives.
The successful candidate will have outstanding relationship building, coaching and influencing skills. You will also have a solutions-focused approach and deal with issues and change in a proactive, positive and dynamic way. A Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in HR administration or a related role, ideally with experience in supervising or leading a team.
