Job Description

As a Material Coordinator, you will be responsible for the application and management of key numbers as instructed by allocated clients & agencies to the Commercial Schedules for telecast as per requirements agreed between Sales Teams, Clients & Agencies and in line with industry legal requirements (Free TV Commercial Television Industry Code of Practice) and National Traffic policies.

Day to day you will:

Establish and maintain effective relationships with internal and external customers/clients Respond in a timely manner to sales and agencies enquiries or requests regarding advertising and campaign bookings Liaise with creative agencies regarding dispatch, CAD approvals and technical requirements Ensure all TVC’s are on hand within the timeframe required to meet published deadlines Identify any TVC’s where due to invalid dates, classification, incorrect duration, or any other reason, the TVC could not air as per instructions and advise Sales and/or client or their agent asap to provide maximum opportunity for a solution Coordinate same day changes with NPC where necessary due to legal reasons or approved Sales requests

Qualifications

You will be a solid team player, who shows commitment to the team's purpose and effectively contributes and shares skills/knowledge with others. You’ll have an ability to absorb information and act accordingly.

High degree of accuracy Adherence to schedules and deadlines Ability to work in a fast paced and constantly changing environment Competent in the use of both Microsoft Office and Google Workspace applications Knowledge of the Commercial Television Industry Code of Practice (not essential) Experience within a media environment (not essential) Diploma or Degree related to Media (not essential)
