The Theatre & Function Space Officer works as part of the Audiovisual (AV) Team that manages the maintenance, redevelopment, specification and upgrade of Exhibition Gallery (Audio Visual) AV displays and systems. Under limited direction, the Theatre & Function Space Officer will facilitate operations of the Memorial’s corporate theatre and function spaces. The work involves: liaison with internal and external clients as the main contact for the theatre, day-to-day operation of technical facilities and the co-ordination of maintenance works for the Theatre and Function Space. Design and implementation of procedures and manuals, forecasting long term budgets and the development of technical strategies to ensure a continuing high level of client and visitor satisfaction is a key aspect of the role. Additionally you will oversee Memorial and agency technical staff for theatre operations, providing technical and administrative support to the Manager - Audiovisual.

Additional to leading the Theatre AV, work involves duties as directed, to perform detailed technical analysis and installation services to effect a continuing programme of improvement and renewal for AV installations in the Memorials galleries for permanent, temporary and touring exhibitions.

Note: This position will work core business hours with an expectation of reasonable over time or flex for potential weekend or after hours work.
