Amazon Australia’s Payment Acceptance and Product Management team is looking for a proven contributor with strong business analysis experience who can collaborate with diverse set of stakeholders, analyse large data sets, prove disprove hypothesis, build insights.

Our Australia Payment Acceptance team is responsible for how Amazon’s customers pay on Amazon’s Australia websites and through Amazon’s services. The payments team is looking for a (Senior) Business Analyst to drive large scale projects, programs, and technical initiatives. In this role, you will be responsible for converting data into actionable business insights those drive better customer experience. You will build self-service dashboards and reports. You will have exciting challenges and the opportunity to influence and drive a growing business area.
The successful candidate is an analysis expert who leverages a variety of data platforms and analytical tools to provide timely, meaningful, and consumable information. They provide insights to improve paying customer experience and success of payment products. They build deep contextual and domain knowledge, and ensure data quality and build scalable tools. They communicate findings with the most effective and influential methods. They love problem solving, obsesses over data, and have a track record of using data to influence successful business decisions.

Key job responsibilities
You will:
• Lead and develop payment metrics: Lead and design reporting solution for Payment metrics for new and existing payment products. Work with Data engineers and Product managers to define reporting needs.
• Own the development and maintenance of new and existing solution artifacts which are focused on driving efficiency within the business via analysis, metrics, and reporting dashboards
• Built Self-Service BI: Build self-service tools and dashboard that not only gives aggregated metrics but also provide ways to pull most granular data for defect verification, customer communication, deep-dive etc.
• Perform data analysis: Perform deep-dive and data analysis. Provide recommendation on new metrics or business decision.
• Create marketing segmentation and prove-disprove hypothesis: Work with marketing managers on marketing campaign execution and post data analysis.
• Design, develop and maintain scaled, automated, user-friendly systems, reports, dashboards, etc. that will support our business needs.

Make intelligent decisions using data and business priority, guide team's roadmap, help & mentor other teammates. Work across multiple teams to make alignment, create mechanisms and influence team’s roadmap.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business, economics, engineering , analytics, mathematics, statistics or a related technical or quantitative field
- 3+ years of tax, finance or a related analytical field experience
- Experience making business recommendations and influencing stakeholders
- 3+ years of writing SQL queries and creating business intelligence reports using Tableau, Power BI experience
- 5+ years of Excel or Tableau (data manipulation, macros, charts and pivot tables) experience
- Experience defining requirements and using data and metrics to draw business insights
- 3+ years of business or financial analysis, product costing, procurement, or a quantitative role experience
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Master's degree in finance, accounting, business, economics, engineering , analytics, mathematics, statistics or a related technical or quantitative field
- Experience using AWS technologies such as Redshift, S3, EC2, EMR and other data warehouse or data pipeline products
