About the RoleWe are seeking a skilled and customer-focused Senior Field Services Officer to provide on-site technical support and maintenance across a range of end-user devices and systems.
Based at Blackburn North, this role is critical in ensuring technology and assets remain reliable, secure, and fully operational — enabling frontline teams to deliver essential services to the community.Key ResponsibilitiesInstall, configure, and support end-user devices including laptops, PCs, applications, hardware, and telecommunications.Support Microsoft technologies such as Windows Operating Systems, Active Directory, Endpoint Configuration Manager (SCCM), Azure, and M365.Manage imaging, deployment, and device refresh activities.Monitor and action the Field Services Incident Queue, ensuring compliance with SLAs and ITIL processes.Troubleshoot and resolve escalated technical issues.Collaborate with digital workplace teams to align system policies with user needs.Contribute to training, documentation, and knowledge base development.Provide support during major incidents and operational events.Promote a safe, respectful, and compliant workplace culture.The Ideal CandidateA quick thinker who can adapt under pressure.A strong problem solver with analytical and troubleshooting skills.Personable and confident in engaging with stakeholders at all levels.Experienced across hardware, software, and network support.Collaborative, team-focused, and adaptable to both technical and asset support functions.Mandatory RequirementsDegree or relevant ICT industry certification, or equivalent experience.Proven experience supporting end-user devices, applications, and telecommunications.Strong knowledge of Microsoft technologies (Windows, Active Directory, SCCM/Endpoint Configuration Manager, Azure).
Current Victorian Driver Licence.Flexibility to work outside normal business hours when required.Knowledge of structured cabling (Desirable).
ITIL Foundation certification (Desirable).
