Your Responsibilities
Develop SQL queries against curated datasets for consistent outputs.
Run ad hoc queries quickly using the BigQuery console.
Leverage Looker Explores effectively.
Create insightful dashboards in Looker.
Provide accurate and timely answers to business questions.
Conduct deeper analytics to uncover trends and deliver actionable insights.
Tools You'll Use
BigQuery Console for ad hoc SQL queries.
Looker for data exploration and dashboards.
Looker Studio for lightweight reporting.
Ideal Candidate Requirements
Advanced SQL skills: write performant queries and validate outputs.
Looker (advanced user): build dashboards, apply visual design best practices, debug performance issues.
Looker Studio: build interactive reports.
Basic LookML literacy: understand structures and make safe model changes.
Self-awareness: recognize limitations and seek help when needed.
Confidence in core skills: operate independently with SQL and Looker.
Data curiosity: explore trends in depth and ask questions.
Business orientation: produce insights that are timely, relevant, and actionable.
