Your Responsibilities:

  • Develop high-quality SQL queries against curated datasets for consistent outputs.
  • Run ad hoc queries quickly using the BigQuery console.
  • Leverage Looker Explores effectively.
  • Create insightful dashboards in Looker.
  • Provide accurate and timely answers to business questions.
  • Conduct deeper analytics to uncover trends and deliver actionable insights.

The Ideal Candidate:

  • Has advanced SQL skills, with the ability to write performant queries and validate outputs.
  • Is proficient in Looker, with experience building dashboards, applying visual design best practices, and debugging performance issues.
  • Has basic LookML literacy, understanding structures and making safe model changes.
  • Is self-aware, recognizing limitations and seeking help when needed.
  • Has confidence in core skills, operating independently with SQL and Looker.
  • Displays data curiosity, exploring trends in depth and asking questions.
  • Is business-oriented, producing insights that are timely, relevant, and actionable.
