As Country Road Group continues to significantly invest in its digital agenda, we are currently looking for a UX Research to drive ongoing innovation. As UX Researcher, this position is responsible for overseeing the successful development and activation of the CRG user experience and customer research strategies. Accountable for the UX Laboratory, this position will be solely responsible for multi-channel customer testing, as well as coaching of internal Product teams to help shape the product roadmap and drive the design of industry leading digital solutions.
In collaboration with the Head of Digital Customer Experience, Brand Heads of Digital and the UX Lead, this position will form part of a high performing team, led by some of Australia's most innovative digital leaders you will leverage your technical expertise to ensure outstanding consumer experiences.
Based in Melbourne with a hybrid mix of time in the office and from home, this role will suit a proven UX researcher, ideally from a retail or agency environment, who is solution orientated and can influence effectively across a complex and fast paced organization.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams across Brand Digital, Product, Analytics and Design to identify knowledge gaps in our understanding of the customer experience and prioritise research opportunities.
- Be a champion of 'customer first' lead design to keep customers at the heart of digital transformation
- Implement research methodologies to execute studies that drive tactical and strategic design decisions.
- Conduct independent research on multiple aspects of the customer experience, across web, mobile, app and omni-channel.
- Collect and analyse user behaviour through laboratory studies, field visits, ethnography, surveys, benchmark studies, and online experiments (A/B testing).
- Report, present and communicate findings and recommendations to multiple stakeholder groups in a compelling and creative way.
- Understand and incorporate complex technical and business requirements into customer research.
- Lead the creation and maintenance of all user-research documentation from process planning, to reporting on recommendations.
- Working closely with the Design & Insights teams to create customer personas, innovative test scenarios, recommendation prototypes, and user journey and story mapping.
Who are we looking for?
- Tertiary qualification in Anthropology, Human Factors, Psychology, HCI/Computer Science or other related fields or equivalent practical experience.
- Sound business acumen with an analytical solution orientated approach
- Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills
- Comfort in working in a complex and multi-vendor environment highly desirable
