This role offers a great opportunity for a talented USER EXPERIENCE RESEARCHER to join an education / technology sector client.

This role is offered as a Maternity Leave Cover Contract, with 12 month duration. You will be reporting into the Design Strategy Director, joining a creative team, and you will be the sole UX Researcher as such you will be the "go to" person for all things research focused and will be working in partnership with both the creative team & various stakeholders across the business.

Within this role, you will be an advocate for research, while also understanding the importance and value in connecting outcomes for both the business and customers.

We are looking for someone who is relatable and engaging; curious about users' behaviour & needs, and confident working with stakeholders (Product Owners, Sales & Marketing etc) to provide insights & recommendations that help to address business goals and objectives.

**THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL**:
Work with teams through the process of discovery

Be happy to focus on research primarily; conducting, collating, analysing research and generating meaningful insights that can be shared

Be helping to improve products for learners and teachers, understand the importance and value in connecting outcomes for the business and customers.

Be a research advocate, curious about users' behaviour needs and priorities

Work with business goals and objectives to hypotheses and ultimately determine user needs

Be able to provide recommendations based on findings

Present research findings, consisting of oral, visual, and written reports

Be passionate about cultivating a learner-centric perspective.

**ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES**:
Create meaningful research plans with core activities outlined

Help to inform and influence product decisions with insights about our users and customers

Design and facilitate workshops with stakeholders

Guide non-designers to support their development and uplift their design thinking capabilities

Come together within cross-functional, multi-disciplinary teams

Effectively communicate concerns and project risks that may affect timely delivery to relevant projects

Work towards and ensure projects are managed on time and within budget

Demonstrate flexibility in approach to your tasks and be open to pivot when needed

Conduct desktop research to help us build our understanding of competitor learning platforms and associated challenges facing students and teachers

Synthesise research from user interviews
