**About the Role**:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced person able to use their expertise to project manage initiatives specifically related to delivery of respectful relationships education (RRE) capability under a nationally funded project.As Manager, you will:
- Provide high level advice and support to senior officers on policy and strategy relating to the project objectives
- Coordinate and contribute to the strategic direction and activities as defined in project priorities
- Lead project implementation, integrate project activities across key areas, analyse performance, and contribute to monitoring, reporting, and evaluation requirements with a specific focus on RRE professional development initiatives detailed in the, Queensland's Plan for the Primary Prevention of Violence Against Women 2024-2028, and the Fourth Action Plan of the Domestic and Family Violence Prevention Strategy 2022-2023 to 2025-26
- Lead and manage a diverse team and coordinate the development of systemic initiatives relating to the delivery of priority RRE professional development (PD)
- Design and deliver high quality PD aligned to Australian Professional Standards, both face-to-face and online, to strengthen the delivery of a whole-school primary prevention approach to RRE through the required curriculum
- Ensure the optimal use of human and financial resources to achieve agreed objectives, and oversee the management of State and Commonwealth funds, where applicable
- Ensure effective communication, integration, coordination and liaison occurs within the Capability branch, across the department, and with other key external stakeholders
- Establish and cultivate effective relationships and networks with key stakeholders and clients
- Prepare and review submissions, briefing material, correspondence and reports for the Minister, senior departmental officers, government agencies, and other entities on issues related to the implementation of the project
- Promote leadership and foster a challenging, equitable, ethical and safe work environment for staff, which encourages commitment, skills development, professional growth and continuous improvement
- Undertake other suitable duties, consistent with the duties and responsibilities of the position as directed by the supervisor or nominated delegate
About You
**The ideal applicants will have the following key attributes**:
- Highly organised with capability to deliver and manage projects, deliver and implement quality work and achieve required project outcomes within set timeframes and budgets that make a positive impact
- Comprehensive knowledge of Australian Curriculum Version 9 (particularly Health and Physical Education), Health Senior Syllabus, P-12 Curriculum, assessment and reporting framework, and systemic priorities regarding respectful relationships education, curriculum implementation, and effective pedagogical practices
- Relevant knowledge to support schools with delivery across all stages of schooling from Kindergarten to Year 12
- Experience in leading and managing a high performing team with multiple competing priorities and productive work practices enabled by digital technologies
- Exceptional written and verbal communication, including presentation and group facilitation skills
- Adaptable, shows initiative and a keen problem solver who works towards finding effective solutions
