The OrganisationYou will join an iconic international bank with progressive footprints and organic growth in Australia, in their well established Risk Management team.
This role is a Mat Leave Cover until June 2020 with the view to extend.Key Duties and ResponsibilitiesUpdate the Branch's Operational Risk Policies and Procedures with regards to regulatory updates and risk management principlesImplement risk management framework and relevant policies and procedures intoBAUUpdate and monitor the Branch's risk limits in accordance with principles stated in relevant policies (e.g. Operational, Incident Management, etc.)Monitor risk management activities and conduct risk workshops as per scheduleConduct half-yearly operational risk assessment, identify and rank prominent operational risks of the BranchAssist the business units in developing risk profiles, and design appropriate controlsReview and assess potential risks associated with new products and processesAssist Department Head to coordinate with external parties (such asAPRA, internal and external auditors.)Maintain documentations and prepare monthly reports to Management and CommitteeOther ad-hocworks when requiredRequirements3-5 years' experience in an operational risk & controls (Line 1, 2 or 3),preferablyin Australian Banking / Big4 consulting firmsTertiary qualified or above in finance/businessGood updated understanding ofAPRAand other regulatory requirements impacting a foreign ADI's operationDetailed knowledge of principles, practices, theories and concepts relating to operational risk managementHigh attention to detail, with demonstrable autonomy and teamworkSpeaking and reading proficiency in both English & Mandarin isessential For further information on this role or to confidentially apply, please send an up to date CV /and contact EugenaGong on or apply directly via the Apply for this job button .
