Job Description:

This role is part of the Operational Risk Management Framework, supporting the delivery of risk management activities across various domains.

The successful candidate will work closely with the Chief Risk Officer and Risk Management team to enhance the operational risk management framework, ensuring it meets regulatory expectations in Australia and New Zealand.

Key responsibilities include managing periodic attestation processes, ensuring all risk events are captured, policies and procedures remain up-to-date, and business heads understand their risk profiles.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent administration skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, strong attention to detail, accuracy, and time management skills.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • 1 year's experience working in an operational risk, enterprise risk or audit function in financial services
  • Exposure to APRA & RBNZ (or another banking regulatory agency) regulations
  • Good understanding of operational risk management best practice and Three Lines of Defence principals
