ABOUT THE ROLE:
Blend Public Relations is looking for a full-time Event & Experiential Coordinator to support the team in bringing to life best-in-industry media, influencer and consumer events for the producers we work with, in addition to supporting the PR team.
This role presents an exciting opportunity for someone who is keen to showcase their exceptional event production and management skills, grow their experience in wine, drinks and communications in these fields, and learn a tonne about the Australian wine industry.
The role:
- You'll work closely with the Agency Director to design and produce events of various scales for some of Australia's leading drinks producers.
- You'll support the Media Office team to achieve stellar PR results for the events and experiences we produce.
- You'll get to learn all about the wine industry and the producers behind some of Australia's favourite drops
Your key responsibilities would include the following:
Event strategy, design & management:
- Use your creativity and experience in event design and production to develop a range of PR-focussed events - from small wine critic tastings to consumer pop-up experiences.
- Coordinate with venue and other external suppliers to organise and execute key event tasks and experience elements including AV, catering, staffing, delivery & logistics, licensing, insurance, styling, entertainment, transport, etc.
- Organise the briefing of clients and key talent to ensure the successful delivery of key messages during the event to VIP guests.
- Project management of event production timeline and management of events budget.
- Attendance and on-site management at events.
- Assist the media team in managing event RSVPs and, in some cases, ticket promotions to drive consumer visitation at events.
- Producing and delivering post-event reports to clients.
Event content creation & co-ordination:
- Work with our reliable roster of designers and print partners to produce essential event collateral from menus, flyers, and brochures to signage, decals, banners and media walls.
- Prepare thorough and accurate event briefs for photographers, videographers, designers, waitstaff, and chefs to assist in delivering a world-class experience for guests.
- Ensure content partners are delivering exceptional content to support our PR endeavours in a timely manner.
- Assist client partners in delivering post-event communications to event and consumer guests to ensure maximum brand impact.
Public Relations support:
- Assist the Blend PR team in executing effective PR campaigns through the production of memorable events.
- Support the media team in engaging Australian media through event invitations, post-event communications and product delivery follow-ups after events have taken place.
Your skills, experience and knowledge:
- Bachelor's Degree or other relevant education in Marketing, PR, Communications and/or Event Management or Event Planning.
- Proven ability to plan and deliver events, particularly PR/Media events, in an agency or in-house role.
- Ability to work collaboratively with team members and suppliers to deliver professional and high-quality event experiences to budget.
