Public Relations Executive Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Public Relations Executive to join our team in Australia. As a key member of our communications department, you will be responsible for developing and executing comprehensive PR strategies that align with our overall marketing and business objectives.

Your primary focus will be on building and maintaining strong relationships with key media contacts across Australia, including journalists, editors, producers, and influencers. You will leverage your current connections and cultivate new, solid relationships to secure media coverage and increase brand awareness.

To achieve this, you will develop and produce compelling stories and content to support our PR and communications efforts. This may include planning, executing, and managing experiential PR events, working closely with the marketing team to ensure consistency with our brand guidelines and messaging.

Additionally, you will work closely with our agency partner to manage and respond to media enquiries in a timely and effective manner. You will write and distribute press releases, media alerts, and other communication materials to targeted media outlets.

As a Public Relations Executive, you will be responsible for monitoring and reporting on the effectiveness of PR and communications activities and adjusting strategies as needed. You will also provide support and guidance to franchisees on their PR and communications needs and help them leverage our brand.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, or a related field.
  • 3-5 years of experience in public relations, communications, or a related field, with a proven track record of success in both traditional and experiential PR.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with an eye for detail and accuracy.
  • Strong knowledge of the Australian media landscape with some existing media relationships.
  • Strong project management and organisational skills, with the ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
