**About the role**:
Reporting to and working within local council, the Recreational Activities Support Worker is a multi-faceted role, providing support to older people, enabling them to participate in social groups within their local community. Working on a casual, as-needed basis, no two days are the same, with daily activities varying between, but not limited to:

- Accompanying and supervising participants on social bus trips
- Respite and social group facilitation
- Engaging group participants in meaningful activities and conversation

**About you**:

- Relevant qualification in Aged Care Support
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Experience working in a group setting
- Positive and proactive work ethic
- A genuine interest in age care and the desire to improve the lives of older people
