About the Leisure and Lifestyle Assistant Role

We are seeking a self-motivated individual to provide recreational activities and promote a positive work environment within aged care facilities.

  • This role involves planning and implementing leisure activities for residents, developing and maintaining relationships with residents and their families, and assisting with daily tasks to support the well-being of residents.

The ideal candidate will have a Certificate III in Leisure and Lifestyle, previous experience in providing leisure activities within an aged care setting, excellent communication skills, and a valid Australian Drivers Licence.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Deliver recreational programs that cater to diverse resident needs and preferences
  2. Maintain open and respectful communication with residents, families, and colleagues
  3. Support daily operations and contribute to a positive facility environment
