This Federal Government agency oversees and manages a number of political events in each State and nationally across Australia.

The technology function is committed to building the agency's IT capability by providing resilient, modern, and secure systems with a view to develop innovative new products and services.

To assist with the on-going technology enhancements, there is a requirement for an ICT Logistics Support Officer to join the team to provide support in delivering technology upgrades for the organisation and its team members.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Analyse business requests and identify solutions to meet business requirements
- Install, configure, test and troubleshoot IT hardware and software
- Resolve issues related to usability, customisation and connectivity
- Receive, check and process purchase requests and verify incoming and outgoing goods against records
- Build and maintain effective internal and external stakeholder relationships through effective communication
- Perform additional duties and support the team as and when required

**Essential Criteria**:

- A history of working with and supporting IT systems, services and processes
- Ability to coordinate procurements of standard services or "commercial-off-the-shelf" (COTS) items where routines, methods and procedures are well established
- Coordinate the packaging, shipping, collection, auditing, and tracking of goods and assets.
- Ability to complete allocated tasks whilst delivering quality results
- Proven ability to communicate effectively whilst liaising with stakeholders and assisting to resolve issues across a geographically dispersed network.
- Ability to conduct analysis and research then report on findings to identify opportunities for business efficiency improvement
- Good communication skills with a high level of attention to detail
