Join Our ICT Team as an ICT Support Officer

Are you an ICT Support Officer who is enthusiastic and customer-focused looking to make a positive impact on education?

We are looking for an enthusiastic individual with a can-do attitude with the ability to manage multiple tasks and operate under pressure.   Your core duties will be to provide user help and support to the staff, students and parents of Perth College.

The Role

The School operates a well-managed ICT platform within a Microsoft environment.  The main focus of this role is to provide service desk support to the students and staff of Perth College as well as assist with the student laptop program.

ICT Support Officer provides Level 1 support to the staff, students, and other stakeholders of the School. The position forms part of an ICT team who work closely together to maintain a functional, effective and up to date technology environment at the School.  This includes upkeep and maintenance of computer hardware, software and peripherals located throughout the School including classrooms.

This is a full-time ongoing role.

You will have:

  • Experience providing first-level ICT support in person, by phone, and online.
  • Proficiency troubleshooting skills for Microsoft 365, Adobe Creative Cloud and standard applications.
  • Practical knowledge of installing, maintaining and repairing desktops, laptops, and Audio-Visual equipment.
  • The ability to maintain accurate asset and technical support records.
  • Confidence liaising with vendors and escalating issues where needed.
  • An organised approach to balancing multiple support requests and deadlines.
