PERSOLKELLY is seeking ICT Support Officer to join Local Government client within their IT team.

PERSOLKELLY is seeking ICT Support Officer to join Local Government client within their IT team.

**Your main duties and responsibilities will include**:

- Implement and maintain the desktop Standard Operating Environment (SOE) in consultation with other members of the ICT Team.
- Support and install software on the PC/Laptop fleet.
- Participate in physical rollout of City endpoint hardware.
- Assist in the maintenance of the ICT asset registers and associated systems to ensure effective Asset Management tracking and reporting is available to support decision making and replacement.
- Log, respond and resolve ICT requests/incidents in line with agreed service levels.
- Liaise with suppliers when required for support of the PC/Laptop and mobile device fleet.
- Provide an out of hours, rostered on call support service when required.
- Install, configure and support the mobile device fleet.
- Identify, create and document process where required.
- Assist and train users as required as part of providing effective ICT Desktop support.
- Maintain familiarity with current & future IT industry directions, relevant to Local Government.
- Proactively contribute to the continuous improvement of the ICT support function.
- Undertake any other duties as required and as directed by the Senior ICT Support Officer and Coordinator ICT Support..

**What are we looking for?**
- Formal qualifications in information technology or relevant industry certifications.
- Previous experience in a similar role.
- Experience in delivering effective technical customer service in a service desk environment.
- Extensive experience in installing and maintaining a Microsoft desktop environment.
- Experience with Standard Operating System (SOE) configuration and deployment.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Exchange Server and Active Directory User account administration
- Extensive knowledge of PC Hardware.
- Extensive knowledge of Windows Desktop Operating Systems.
- Possession of Current C Class Drivers Licence.
- Possession of or ability to obtain a current National Police Certificate.
