**THE OPPORTUNITY**
Reporting to the Head of Sales & Events, as an Event Coordinator at Laundy Hotels you are responsible for but not limited to:
- Manage events from post-sale through to execution, ensuring seamless planning and delivery.
- Possess exceptional customer service with an impeccable eye for detail
- Timely and accurate distribution of all events related information to internal and external parties
- Have excellent communication with clients to build repeat business
- Building and maintaining relationships executes a consistent level of high-quality service to customers and responds in a timely manner to enquiries
- Working closely, and in conjunction with, the Event Operations Manager, General Manager, and Event Coordinator to ensure that all aspects of events have been cost effective, established, and serve both the client and business' needs
- Provide feedback on creative ideas and actively promote our venues to the event and wedding markets.
**WHO ARE YOU**
As a driven, passionate and focused individual you will possess the following attributes and skills:
- Minimum of 2 years' experience in a similar role; prior experience in wedding, corporate, or social coordination is highly advantageous.
- Demonstrated drive and determination to deliver exceptional client experiences.
- Proven ability to communicate effectively and clearly with both internal and external stakeholders.
- A natural problem solver, with an ability to offer creative and elegant solutions
- Proficient in managing priorities in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
- Warm and welcoming presence with a genuine approach to client interaction.
- Highly motivated with a keen attention to detail.
- Passion and enthusiasm for the hospitality industry
- Available to work weekends during peak periods
Please note that this role will require travel between Lane Cove Head Office and venues.
