**Marketing Manager, SME Segment - 12 Month Fixed Term Contract**

We're looking for an experienced Marketer with a passion for engaging the growing small and medium sized business segment in Australia. In this role you will be responsible for the development and execution of the overall marketing strategies and tactics for our small and mid-market clients and prospects.
The Marketing Manager is responsible for digital-first campaigns and initiatives, working with our digital marketing experts to execute always-on and seasonal campaigns. Importantly, the Marketing Manager will consistently communicate with commercial teams to help them understand and leverage campaign insights and outcomes. The Marketing Manager will also provide strategic marketing and communications advice, facilitate and participate in planning sessions with sales, business, and regional stakeholders and help to improve overall marketing operations and processes as well as their own skills and that of the wider team.

**We will count on you to**:
- Develop, enhance and deliver the SME marketing strategy
- Regularly liaise with senior business stakeholders to understand commercial challenges and opportunities, communicate clearly and simply the marketing response and keep stakeholders engaged ongoing
- Manage integrated marketing campaigns to engage clients and/or prospects and help them understand more about Marsh's industry expertise, products and services
- Understand our value proposition for the SME segment and help develop content and assets (including agency briefs) that are compelling and help to move our target audiences down the funnel
- Consistently deliver to a high quality standard and meet deadlines through effective communication and stakeholder management
- Liaise with leadership to scope project requirements, including budget, resource needs and delivery timeframes
- Regularly report on campaign performance and project budgets
- Recommend better ways of doing things to scale our work or improve processes
**We would like you to have**:
- A Bachelor's Degree or higher in Marketing, Communications or similar
- 7+ years in marketing and/or communications or similar, whether agency or corporate
- Experience in lead generation and nurture through CRMs and marketing automation programs
**What makes you stand out**:
- A track record driving strategic digital marketing to deliver outcomes at each stage of the funnel
- Deep understanding of the SME audience, with practical experience engaging this segment
- Digital marketing fluency with strong understanding of SEO and content marketing techniques
- Demonstrated ability to influence internal stakeholders
- Proven proficiency in interpreting analytics, regularly reporting actionable insights to internal and external clients
