**About the Role**

The Retention Team Leader supports their direct reports to deliver the ME Business Plan by building the capability and focus of the team to help them turn customers into advocates through providing great customer outcomes for every customer.

The Retention Team Leader coaches and initiates performance conversations which direct reports that bring the Customer Promises to life and ensure ME are quick and easy to deal with, expertly managing quality and risk and informing customers every step of the way.

**About You**

We are looking for someone with strong leadership and people management skills that is passionate about coaching a team to success. In addition you will posess:

- Extensive experience and detailed understanding of the banking industry, including the credit process
- Proven ability to coach to build capability
- Demonstrable belief in accountability for personal and team outcomes
- Operational planning and sales process experience
- Proven history operating in a highly compliant environment
- Knowledge and experience of working effectively with stakeholders
- Proven experience in presentation skills
- Customer focus - understand and care about what the customer really wants
