Our brand and mastheads are some of the most recognisable in Australia. BSG plays a critical role in delivering our physical (print) and digital products for our clients and to our customers.

This newly created role will implement and lead business change initiatives using customer-centred continuous improvement standard work practices to improve the experience of our internal and external customers. Working closely with the BSG senior leadership team, you will lead the continuous improvement programme.

**What's the role?**

Working within a dynamic and collaborative team, you will take the lead role in the development and delivery of the Business Services Groups continuous improvement programme.

You will lead the establishment and development of a new team who will:
Manage the iterative continuous improvement roadmap for key business processes
- Implementing stakeholder management to ensure the needs of all customers are considered and prioritised.
- Implement and manage an agile continuous improvement framework and roadmap ensuring a standard process model for all change initiatives are followed proportionate to the scope of the change.
- Develop and embed a change management framework into the continuous improvement cycle, ensuring a consistent pattern of activities are developed proportionate to the scope of the change.
- Lead a culture of design thinking within your team, promoting a sense of empathy towards the customers you're designing for throughout the entire continuous improvement cycle.
- Provide training and coaching to team on best practice change methodologies, documentation design and change management skills.

**Who you are**
- Bachelor's degree in a related discipline
- 5+ years' experience in implementing continuous improvement initiatives in addition to relevant experience in an operations or consulting related role.
- Proven delivery of continuous improvement methodologies - LEAN & Six Sigma
- LEAN or Six Sigma formal qualifications desirable
- Facilitation of change in a cross functional environment
- Demonstrated ability to lead & manage time bound project deliverables
- Mentor & training of teams to implement a culture of continuous improvement
- Strong interpersonal skills and able to engage at all business levels
- Demonstrated strategic capability
- Comfortable working hands on in a challenging environment
- Able to work autonomously & part of a team
- Able to engage, influence others and drive outcomes
