The Customer Lead is pivotal in developing and managing the relationships with our largest eCom Pureplay customer, Pet Circle GSV (~$25.6M annually) as well as our newly formed partnership with Pet Culture (~$3M annually).

You'll work closely with the SPT Channel Director, Category, Finance, Marketing and SRM to develop and implement joint business initiatives to drive brand and category growth.

In this role, you'll seek to achieve set business objectives by managing the partnerships between the organization and accounts in all aspects including customer satisfaction, action planning, budgetary management and eCom strategies. Whilst the basis of this role is Account Management, the true value of this role comes from the strategy and the ability to create new and innovative ways to partner and accelerate capability.

- An experienced and capable e-commerce professional, who can utilise their in depth knowledge and understanding of e-commerce principles, platforms and priorities to champion the acceleration of our digital business within the broader Sales community.
- Ability to build collaborative relationships and influence others to unlock the potential within the Pet Circle/Pet Culture/Mars partnership through this exceptional digital/ecommerce capability.
- Strong planning and prioritisation skills balancing development and implementation of long term, digital strategies, with the daily operational requirements of managing the commercial relationship.
- A connector, you'll be skilled in remaining well connected to the broader local and global digital communities, able to ensure two way sharing of information that leverages the experiences of the wider global online marketplace to delivery best in class outcomes while remaining consistent with the digital strategies as detailed by the Digital Demand team.

**What will be your key responsibilities?**:

- Deliver against agreed total Pet Circle and Pet Culture targets, consistent with customer external RSV, GP and growth expectations.
- Conduct end to end account management of the Pet Circle and Pet Culture customer relationship including all areas of pricing, promotion, execution, category management, activation, NPD/distribution.
- Establish and maintain key partnerships within Pet Circle and Pet Culture across all divisions (marketing, development etc) to ensure detailed understanding of customer digital capability and strategic direction to identify opportunities to partner, activate, share expertise/data, and drive mutual growth.
- Enhance sales fundamentals through ongoing PDS (Perfect Digital Screen) improvements that deliver a best-in-class online presence of Mars Petcare brands, and total Pet Circle and Pet Culture pet categories.
- Identify content, platform and capability opportunities for implementation and influence Pet Circle and Pet Culture stakeholders to implement changes.
- Identify pet and online category solutions that drive long term sustainable business growth for Mars and Pet Circle / Pet Culture, and translate these into action through collaboration and partnership.
- Routinely evaluate performance and investment using various data platforms to deliver optimised solutions for Mars and Pet Circle / Pet Culture.
- Embed within the broader Mars Petcare digital team (Digital Customer Development & Digital Demand teams) to share knowledge, insight, data and strategies that contribute to the overarching digital ambitions of Mars Petcare. You'll also Act as a "digital expert" within the SPT sales team, to enhance digital capability and cement Mars Petcare as a digital strategy thought leader in the industry.
