
Cybersecurity Sales Manager

SEL is seeking an experienced Cybersecurity Sales Manager to own and drive the Business and Technical aspects of strategic selling.
You will be partnering with a strong team of peers to differentiate the SEL solutions from our competitors, create lasting customers by positioning the unique business value they are looking for and most importantly, create trusted advisor relationships with SEL throughout your area of influence.Your Opportunity:Become an OT security SME and advisor to some of the world's largest organizationsMeet with prospective clients to discover what their biggest security challenges and highest priority business drivers areMap SEL's unique business value and differentiators to their challenges and business driversPerform custom portfolio demonstrations based on strong discovery questions and real intelPartner with like-minded peers across SEL to build exceptionally strong teams and shared knowledgeInfluence product directions, make a difference and be part of SEL's growth and leadership in the ever faster-moving world of cybersecurityMaintain and develop the existing client base through regional marketing and direct sales activitiesIdentify, qualify and develop new opportunities through prospecting and networkingRequired Qualifications:Cybersecurity hardware, software, and services sales experience selling to electric utility companiesUnderstanding how to craft a custom demo vs delivering a canned demoSkill and confidence in leading discussions from a deep technical level to the executive levelExcellent presentation, written, and verbal communication skillsWillingness to travel where and when needed, typically around 15% on averagePreferred Qualifications:Experience with network security technologiesSolid foundational knowledge of TCP/IP and network security conceptsExperience with Enterprise class operating systems at the security admin levelKnowledge of compliance standards (e.g., NERC CIP, NIST, IEC)BS in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or related field, 5+ years of direct SE experienceCISSP, GIAC, CEH, or other security-related certificationsLocation: This position will be located in Sydney, Australia.Pay Range: We anticipate hiring a Sales Manager with a competitive base salary and on-target earning potential through commissions.
Our salary ranges are determined by job, responsibility, and location.
The salary range may differ in other locations based on cost of labor.
