The Monash Health Language Services (MHLS) Department is looking for experienced Interpreters (NAATI Certified) to join our growing team at Monash Health.

Full time time positions available in Dari and Mandarin Languages.

**About the Role**

The Certified Interpreter performs high quality, general and specialised interpreting and translating functions in our health settings. You will provide professional interpreting and translating between staff and patients, families and carers from culturally and linguistically diverse (CALD) backgrounds. You will consult and collaborate with other hospital personnel to understand cultural implications in health conversations to enhance patient safety and quality of care.

**About you**

You are a NAATI Certified Interpreter with extensive experience, accurate vocabulary in your language and knowledge of health terminology.

You will possess the ability to confidently interpret conversations, professionally and efficiently, between staff and patients, families/carers performing all duties with a high quality of customer service.

Interpreting and translating qualifications in other languages would be beneficial.
